Jimmy played for Fernhill in the late 60s early 70s. He had a trial for Chelsea fc '69 . He also played for Cambuslang Rangers. He was a great goalscorer.

Watched Jim play at every level throughout his time in football super striker scored some terrific goals

He did play for Clyde United in 71/72 before signing for Cambuslang Rangers.Started as a striker then moved to left wing for a while.

I remember him from Fernhill days: they were a great team. Did he sometimes play on left wing or was he an out and out centre forward ? - The Fernhill team used to get good crowds watching them. Loads of really good players.
